In this movie club, we watch a movie and have discuttion to learn disability, surrounding environment, life, etc..
This is an animated film of Yoshitoki OIMA’s highly acclaimed manga “Koe no katachi” (The Shape of Voice). An elementary school student, Masaya ISHIDA, who used to be a brat, is innocently curious about a deaf transfer student, Shoko NISHIMIYA, but an incident with Shoko isolates him from the classmates.
This is a film about the society in which people “live”, what is people with and without disability and “friend”, through the drama of the adolescent boy.
